GDS Geo Drilling Solutions/DrillKing presents the new WAI 80i within the water-propelled hammer family

This Summer GDS Geo Drilling Solutions and DrillKing has presented a new member within the water-propelled hammer family; the 8’’ hammer WAI 80i. As for the other WAI series’ hammers, it is equipped with an integrated check valve.

The hammer is suitable for foundation applications such as casing advancing and drilling in hard rock. The hammer is designed to match drill bits with modified DHD 380 bit shank in the following hole dimensions:

Ø216 – 267 mm (Ø8.5 – 10.5’’) for drilling in rock
Ø219.1 – 323.9 mm (Ø8 5/8 – 12 3/4’’) for casing advancing
