Drilling system with reverse circulation is mainly used for drilling with rough piles and in case of difficult soil conditions. The R/C system provides a much better control of the return flow and reduces the need of air. Owing to the increased control of the flushing and return flow, R/C drilling is more benign to the surrounding areas and formation.
