Jet grouting is an advanced method where cement slurry is, under high pressure, spouted out in the formation to build cement pillars or to seal a rammed sheet pile wall against rock.
A method for jet grouting that has been shown to work well in Scandinavian conditions, is to perform pre-drilling with a water powered hammer.
This method presupposes the use of dual wall piles and swivels with to media conductors, so called Duplex-system where one of the conductors is used for the cement slurry and the other conductor is used for the water that powered the drilling hammer.
GDS is marketing complete drilling systems for jet grouting, including drilling hammers and drill bits and shortly also systems with drilling hammers with integrated jet-nozzles to enable drilling and grouting in one single sequence.
